"I just wanted to pass on our sincere thanks and to make you aware how impressed we were with the team at Ellis Brigham, Manchester yesterday. My friend and I had booked an ice climbing introduction session for my husband's Birthday and my friend's anniversary. We were really impressed with the session and our instructor, Alex, who made the session very fun and informative for them. My friend and I watched the men climb and were made to feel extremely welcome by your friendly staff members. Every member of staff we came into contact with was polite, friendly and seemed to really enjoy their job! We also experienced excellent customer service in the booking service before we arrived and had pre-contact with your staff members via phone and email. We will definitely be returning to ice climb in the future and would not hesitate to recommend Ellis Brigham." "We were thinking about new waterproof jackets for the coming winter. As keen fell walkers who visit the lakes and peak district very regularly, we wanted good kit. We called in at the shop on Deansgate in Manchester that sells a great range of kit and brands. Andy B helped us enormously, going over the pro's and con's of each of the jackets we looked at. His questions to find exactly what we needed, rather than thought we wanted, were incisive but not intrusive, as we eventually narrowed the search. As he could see we were still a little unsure, he offered to hold the jacket my wife was keen on for the rest of the day. We went for a coffee, mulled it over, went back to Andy and bought two jackets valued at £800!! Now that's service, and good selling. Not pushy, just helpful."
